Free Recipes for Dinner Party

Consider the things when planning a dinner party

The most successful dinners are planned long in advance. In order not only to relieve yourself of unnecessary stress but you will ensure that the night goes perfectly smooth and that you enjoy the evening as much as your guests. Following are some items that you want to check and plan in time for the night of your next dinner party.

* Send invites with occasion topic (if any), time, address andone rsvp contact.

* Confirm visitors.

* Include other items on your shopping list, you may also need, namely coffee, tea, mixers, liquor, wine, candles, etc.

* Polish, the cutlery.

* Check and wash the glasses and polished, if need be.

* Check your dishes. Had enough? Is it lined?

* Choose your settings, when a table.

* Do you have enough chairs?

* Set the table for a test, how to access theDay.

* Select the music for the dinner? Play-list, or CD's?

* Organize or light candles for the evening. Underestimate is not the music and lighting, a dinner party for all purposes and not only on the tongue.

* Cleanup.

* Do you know the number for your local taxi or a spare bed or two, if not some of your guests will be able to drive.

* Match wines to your menu.

* Are there any dietary requirements your guestshave? Celiac, vegetarian, allergies etc.

* Chill the wine.

With all these tasks out of the way, you can once again focusing on the foods that you will be served. The key to success on the food front is plan, plan, plan and plan, and by that I mean simply the following 4 elements:

Write down your menu

That is what you serve and see, keep it posted in front of you on the right track. Even the best and practicing musicians play a song list, plus it is importantto the remaining 3 items.

Write a Shopping List

Write your shopping list from the menu and the recipes you will need on the night.

Write a Prep List

If you don't write it down, there is a good chance you will miss it. Professional kitchens work from prep lists all day right up to service time, if you do the same (even days before) you will have a stress free night.

Write a Running Order

Ever wonder how when you're at a wedding (a good one, that is), like the kitchen, fed and maintained for all time as one flows naturally to the other so seamlessly? Now, I can assure you is the kitchen is not winging it. They run on a very precise temporal sequence. Each piece of the puzzle is already planned and prepared for a specified time. This blueprint for how and when the kitchen tasks can be done to be called everything from a "running order" to "Work Flow". Whatever you call it, it is important to ensure that youone.

Below is a sample menu prep list and are exported to a dinner party, I have not included such as a shopping list, which is pretty self-explanatory. Let us, in this case, the guests arrive at 7:00 clock and take the dinner will be served at 7:40 Clock.

Menu

Canapés: Asparagus and Prosciutto Bites with reduced balsamic vinegar

Chili Lime and Gin Marinated Oysters

Homemade Spiced Cashews

First course:

Crab, pickled ginger and avocado stack with babyHerbs and lemon vinaigrette

Main course:

Salmon Fillet with Wilted Spinach and Lemon Beurre Blanc

Dessert:

Grilled Peaches with Amaretto Mascarpone

Prep List

3 Days Out

* Reduce balsamic vinegar

2 Days Out

* Lemon Vinaigrette

* Gin & Lime Chilli Marinade

* Prepare spiced cashews

1 Day Out

* Order oysters, salmon and prawns

* Blanch asparagus

* Cut prosciutto

* Beurre blancprep

* Amaretto Mascarpone

On The Day

* Set the table in the morning (so you can get this task out of the way early while you still have time).

* Pick up seafood

* Pick crab

* Clean salmon fillets if necessary

* Clean oysters, if necessary (look for the Shell-bit)

* Pick Spinach

* Dice avocado

* Cut Baby Herbs

* Salmon Wrap

* Halve peaches (do it from refrigerator now to allow them tocome to room temperature).

Running Order

6:00 pm

* Put asparagus bites

* Top with marinated oyster

6:20

* Sear Salmon

* Make discount beurre blanc

6:40 pm

* Technical and canapés

* Clean up mess canapé

* Line on first course plates

7:00

* Serve beverages

* Dress asparagus with balsamic syrup

* Serve canapés

7:15

* Put crab stacks on the first plates of course (notnot put herbs on left)

* Oven to 180

Mascarpone * Remove from the refrigerator to make it come to room temperature.

7:30

* Dress crab stack with a little vinaigrette

* Drizzle a small bandage on stack

* Top-dressed crab stack with Herbs

7:40

* Attach plate on the table

* Seat guests

8:00

* Free first course

* Cook salmon in the oven for 5-10 minutes, depending on thickness.

* Prepare beurreblanc

* Line up main course plates

* Remove salmon and let stand

* Blanche spinach

* Table to

* Serve

Then

* Free Main Course Plates

* Grilled peaches

* Finish peaches in the oven

* Line on dessert plates

* Serve Dessert

* Relax have you done well!
