Low Fat Diet Recipes

Health Professional agree that fat we eat can make fat. Much meat and many dairy products, baked goods, fast food, snacks, fried foods, are sauces, sauces and oils that can be loaded with fat and can eat them without too fat to obesity.You deny themselves the pleasure of good food cut . Here are some simple and delicious recipes to help you on your way to a low-fat way of life.

Zesty LIME Cornish Hens

6 Cornish hens, about 1 pound per

2/3-cup low-fator fat-free Italian salad dressing

½ cup fresh Limejuice

¼ cup green onions, chopped

2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

1 tbsp lime rind, grated

¼ teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Wash hens, pat dry. Combine the remaining ingredients in shallow baking dish. Add hens turn to coat with the marinade. Cover and store overnight in the refrigerator. Repeatedly switching. Remove hens from the marinade. Grill on the stove, 4 inches from heat for about 1 hour oruntil done or bake in a 350-degree oven for 1 hours. Turn and baste often with remaining marinade.

Yields 6 Cornish hens.

TURKEY BURGERS

1 pound ground Turkey.

¼ cup dry bread crumbs

¼ cup onion, finely chopped

1 egg or egg white

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Vegetable cooking spray

Lettuce, tomato and onion

Combine Turkey, bread crumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, slat and peppermedium bowl. Turkey Shape mixture into 4 patties, each about ½-inch thick.

Spray large skillet with vegetable cooking spray. Heat frying pan hot over medium heat. Place pie pan and place in 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes or longer, until cooked through. She toasted hamburger buns with lettuce, tomato and onion, if desired Serve.

Yields 4 servings.

SAUTÉED SPICY GREENS

1 small bunch kale (about 12Ounces)

1 small bunch kale (about 12 ounces)

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 large and 5 cloves garlic, minced

1 / 8 teaspoon ground pepper rep

1 small onion, cut into thin slices

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Salt to taste

Cut or tear of hard green parts of green stalks and midrib; discard stems and ribs. Rinse leaves two or three times in cold water and drain. Slice leaves into bite-sized pieces by rollingseveral leaves together and cut into ¼-inch strips. Bring 2 cups of salted water to a boil in an oven or large pot. Add greens and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until leaves are bright green, drain.

Heat oil in a large heavy pan over medium heat. Garlic, crushed peppers and onions, cook for 1 minutes. Add vegetables, sugar and vinegar. Continue cooking, stirring, until greens are cooked through about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Yields 6Servings.

HERB BAKED CATFISH

2 pounds catfish fillets

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium clove garlic, minced

½ teaspoon pepper

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon dried thyme

½ teaspoon dried basil

½ teaspoon dried oregano

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

Combine garlic and olive oil, spread evenly over the bottom of a baking disk. Combine pepper, salt, pepper,Thyme, basil and oregano. Sprinkle herb mixture on both sides of the fish. Arrange fillets on greased baking dish. Drizzle with lemon juice. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes or until fish is almost done.

Move the casserole dish over 4 to 6 inches from heat, and cook 4 to 6 minutes longer or until fish flakes when tested. Remove fish platter and pour pan juices over fish. Garnish with parsley, if desired.

Yields 6 servings.

Choosing & Cooking Chinese Christmas Recipes

With the Chinese New Year is the most important event in the Chinese calendar, you would imagine that Christmas has swept under the carpet. Not the way Christmas is celebrated more and more popular throughout China.

Even if you do not see the hype and shopping frenzy of the Western countries, in larger cities you will find lamps, trees and Christmas decorations on the streets and in shops to see. Christmas is not even a public holiday in China, although Hong Kong and Macao.Whether this is just a part of the Chinese interest in Western culture, or a sales trick of the department stores who can say?

With an increasing number of Christians, it can only be expected that more people are celebrating the holidays in China each year will be. With little tradition and history, cooking for a Chinese Christmas dinner means that you every opportunity to dish you cook.
