Choosing & Cooking Chinese Christmas Recipes

With the Chinese New Year is the most important event in the Chinese calendar, you would imagine that Christmas has swept under the carpet. Not the way Christmas is celebrated more and more popular throughout China.

Even if you do not see the hype and shopping frenzy of the Western countries, in larger cities you will find lamps, trees and Christmas decorations on the streets and in shops to see. Christmas is not even a public holiday in China, although Hong Kong and Macao.Whether this is just a part of the Chinese interest in Western culture, or a sales trick of the department stores who can say?

With an increasing number of Christians, it can only be expected that more people are celebrating the holidays in China each year will be. With little tradition and history, cooking for a Chinese Christmas dinner means that you every opportunity to dish you cook.
